Gluten-free Restaurant Guide

As an affiliate of Triumph Dining, I recently received a complimentary copy of their newest (5th) edition of The Essential Gluten-Free Restaurant Guide.  Here is a review of this handy resource.

Want to expand your repertiore of neighborhood restaurants that provide gluten-free offerings?  Do you like having peace of mind knowing you can find gluten-free restaurants when traveling?  Want to know about the ever-increasing number of gluten-free items available at your favorite chain restaurants?  Then you want a copy of The Essential Gluten-Free Restaurant Guide.

Here’s what the guide offers:

  • a listing of over 6,500 restaurants nationwide that provide gluten-free options; listed alphabetically by state; all 50 states are covered
  • 120 gluten-free menus from national and regional chain restaurants
  • advice for how to communicate with restaurants and waitstaff when ordering gluten-free

The guide is updated every year to account for all the new restaurants making gluten-free options available to their customers and I find the information to be very reliable.  I compared restaurant write ups in the book with what the restaurants claim to offer gluten-free, either via their menus or through employees; the information has always been precisely accurate.  Clearly, the Triumph Dining restaurant reviewers are verifying the restaurant information.

I use the guide to find new restaurants in my neighborhood that I didn’t know offered gluten-free items and I take it with me when I travel.

The guide retails for $24.95 and can be purchased by clicking on the purple and orange icon to the right.  In addition to the gluten-free restaurant guide, Triumph Dining offers a gluten-free grocery guide and restaurant cards.  They also have a fantastic blog!
